David M. Anderson


Mr. Anderson over 30 years experience in engineering, production, and planning. He has lead the development of successful products from heavy equipment to medical devices. He is responsible for several production reengineering efforts. He is a process expert with extensive experience with information systems and engineering computer tools.

Mr. Anderson has provided lectures and seminars on product development processes and computer productivity tools. He is a trained Quality Function Deployment facilitator.


Mr. Anderson has18 years consulting experience, most recentlydeveloping a turnaround plan for a small machine shop. Hehas also been aprivate consultant in the Medical Device Industry.Prior to that he spent 8 years with Herbst LaZar Bell, a product development firm. As a senior partner he was a leader of the development of the Engineering practice, including the technical infrastructure.


Mr. Anderson has 14 years experience with Case Corp (International Harvester) where he worked on a variety of agricultural equipment. His assignments included design, testing, production support, and project management. He has extensive experience with sheet metal, castings, and power transmission.


Mr. Anderson also served as the Manager, Resource Planning, where he was responsible for the development and tracking of a $100MM+ engineering budget. He also had several special assignments including Manufacturing liaison and technology assessment.


Mr. Anderson managed assembly floor production control for Allis-Chalmers Lift Truck Division. In that position he reengineered the production control and order forecasting systems, including the computer systems. He was responsible for virtual elimination of late stocking during assembly build.


Mr. Anderson also held the position of Product Safety Engineer, where he managed the resolution of over 100 active product liability claims. He was also responsible for developing a Product Safety procedure and was the representative on several industry standards committees.
